Lulu Weston traveling alone, 18 years old and listed as having no occupation traveled into the U.S. arriving at Port Huron Michigan in April of 1908. She had her brother pay for her passage and arrived with $4.50 (equivalent to $125.69 in 2020 dollars). She lists she is staying with a sister Mrs Hugh Milton at 127 Milwaukee Ave in Detroit, but this person has not been identified.

crosed the border from Canada to the U.S.; Detroit Michigan10
Lulu Weston age 20, traveling alone, arrived in Detroit by boat from Canada on November 25 1910. The manifest lists her father as Richard Weston and is from Bayfield, Ontario. She is listed with no occupation and single with $3.00 in cash (equivalent to $81.15 in 2020) and paid for the passage herself. The manifest also lists her as 5'2" tall with fair complexion, brown hair and grey eyes. She came to live with her sister Mable E Newton (nee Weston). She stated she was never in the U.S. before and this contradicts the 1908 passage where she entered when she was 18. She listed her birthplace as Portar's Hill, Ontario, Canada. which is located between Bayfield and Goderich Canada.
Residence:
1911 (age 20-21)
Bayfield, Ontario
I believe the 1911 census record shows her as being back in Bayfield. The record is very hard to read but their is a daughter of 20 years old. Not sure when this census was enumerated. She is shown going to live with her sister Mabel on the 24th of Nov 1910, but then is back in Bayfield shortly thereafter and marries Virgil Brandenburg in December in Canada.
